دون تمييز لكل الأدباء والكتّاب اللبنانيين، كما للكتّاب العرب المقيمين في لبنان (أعضاء شرف)،

الذين يحققون شروط العضوية ويلتزمون بأهدافها وبنظامها الداخلي وبشرعة وميثاق منظمة القلم

الدول ية. هي مفتوحة أيضا لطلبة الدراسات العليا، والفنانين ، والصحفيين، والمهتمين بالأدب،

والكتابة ، والنشر الورقي والالكتروني.

Lebanon PEN Association (Lebanon PEN), Registration No. 1421/2012, is an open association without discrimination to all Lebanese writers and literary figures, as well as Arab writers residing in Lebanon (honorary members), who meet the membership requirements and commit to its objectives, internal regulations, and the Charter and Code of the International PEN. It is also open to postgraduate students, artists, journalists, and those interested in literature, writing, and print and electronic publishing.

معايير وإجراءات العضوية في القلم لبنان

شروط العضوي ة

لكل من تتوافر فيه الشروط الآتية: (PEN Lebanon) يحق التقدم بطلب عضوية القلم لبنان

1. أن يكون ناشطاً في الحقل الأدبي أو الثقافي أو الفكري، ككاتب أو شاعر أو روائي أو باحث أو صحفي أو

محرر أو مترجم أدبي أو مفكر أو ناشر ورقي والكتروني أو فنان أو طالب دراسات عليا، وأن يكون له

إنتاج منشور أو مساهمات أدبية أو فكرية أو ثقافية تعكس جدارته واهتمامه بمجالات الإبداع والثقافة.

ولا سيما مبادئ حرية التعبير، والدفاع عن الأدب والثقافة، وتعزيز الحوار والتفاهم بين ،Charter)

الشعوب، واحترام حقوق الإنسان، والالتزام بأخلاقيات المنظمة والامتناع عن اعتماد أو ترويج خطاب

الكراهية أو التحريض على العنف أو التمييز، بالإضافة الى الابتعاد عن تضارب المصالح .

3. أن يتقدم بطلب عضوية وفق النموذج المعتمد، متضمناً إقراراً خطيا بالالتزام بالنظام الأساسي للجمعية

وميثاق القلم الدولي واخلاقيات المنظمة.

4. أن توافق الهيئة الإدارية على طلب العضوية بعد دراسة الطلب والتحقق من استيفائه شروط الانتساب،

مع الإفصاح عن أي حالة قد تؤدي إلى تضارب في المصالح عند الاقتضاء.

Membership Criteria and Procedures

Requirements​

  1. Anyone who is active in the literary, cultural, or intellectual field may apply for membership, including as a writer, poet, novelist, researcher, journalist, editor, literary translator, intellectual, print or electronic publisher, artist, or postgraduate student. Applicants should have published work or literary, intellectual, or cultural contributions demonstrating their merit and interest in creative and cultural fields.
  2. Applicants must believe in the mission of Lebanon PEN and commit to the Charter of International PEN, particularly the principles of freedom of expression, the defense of literature and culture, promoting dialogue and understanding among peoples, respect for human rights, adherence to the organization’s ethics, refraining from adopting or promoting hate speech or incitement to violence or discrimination, and avoiding conflicts of interest.
  3. Applicants must submit a membership application using the approved form, including a written declaration of commitment to the association’s bylaws, internal regulations, the International PEN Charter, and the organization’s ethics.
  4. The administrative board must approve the membership application after reviewing it and verifying that the applicant meets the membership requirements. Any situation that may give rise to a conflict of interest must be disclosed, where applicable.

إجراءات العضوي ة

1. يُقدَّم طلب العضوية إلى أمين السر او من ينوب عنه.

2. تُحال الطلبات المكتملة إلى الهيئة الإدارية لدراستها والبت فيها.

3. يُبلَّغ مقدم الطلب خطياً بقرار قبول الطلب أو رفضه.

4. تصبح العضوية نافذة بعد استكمال إجراءات التسجيل وتسديد رسم الانتساب والاشتراك السنوي

Procedures

  1. The membership application is submitted to the Secretary or their representative.
  2. Complete applications are referred to the Administrative Board for review and decision.
  3. The applicant is notified in writing of the decision to accept or reject the application.
  4. Membership becomes effective after completion of the registration procedures and payment of the approved membership and annual subscription fees.

رسوم العضوي ة

1. رسم الانتسا ب والاشترا ك: 30 دولاراً أميركي ا.ً

2. يلتزم العضو بتسديد الاشتراك السنوي الذي تحدده الهيئة الإدارية.

3. يُعفى الأعضاء الفخريون وأعضاء مدى الحياة من رسوم الانتساب والاشتراكات السنوية.

4. بالنسبة للأعضاء الذين ينتسبون خلال الربع الأخير من السنة، يشمل اشتراكهم الفترة الممتدة حتى

نهاية السنة التالية.

Fees

  1. Membership and subscription fee: US$30.
  2. Members are required to pay the annual subscription fee determined by the Administrative Board.
  3. Honorary members and lifetime members are exempt from membership and annual subscription fees.
  4. For members who join during the last quarter of the year, their subscription covers the period through the end of the following year.

حقوق الأعضا ء

يتمتع العضو، بعد قبول عضويته، بحق المشاركة في أنشطة القلم لبنان وبرامجه، والمساهمة في تحقيق

رسالته، وفقاً للنظام الأساسي والأنظمة الداخلية للجمعية.

Members’ Rights

After membership is approved, the member has the right to participate in Lebanon PEN’s activities and programmes and to contribute to fulfilling its mission, in accordance with the Association’s bylaws and internal regulations.
